Within the Kavian Petrochemical Complex of Marun Linde AG awarded one Etyhlene tank (16.000m³) and one C2+ tank (17.700³) to adapt GmbH, which is an affiliate company of SPG.
The scope included Basic- and Detail Engineering, Process piping design and basic engineering, Procurement, Construction Advisory / Supervision.
Linde AG awarded one LNG Cryogenic tank (30.000m³; design code API620) and one LNG Sphere (4.500m³, Design Code PD 5500) to adapt GmbH, which is an affiliate company of SPG.
The scope of the project included Basic- and Detail Engineering, Procurement, Construction Advisory/Supervision.
Special Feature: Storage Steel Tanks with surrounding Steel Cup, full dynamic design of tank structure for External Explosion Wave plus Seismic Loading. The tank structure was completely shop assembled, tested and certified, following a Sea Transport of all tanks to final destination and lifting of tanks into final position at Site.
Posco Iron & Steel awarded Desulphurization Plant Project for the Kwangyang Steel Plant to SPG. The scope included Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering, Procurement of all process related equipment, construction advisory, commissioning and erection for the Ammonia Cracking Reactor, High Pressure & Low Pressure Gas Coolers, Sulphur Condenser, Sulphur Separator, Sulphur Loading Station, incl. all connecting pipelines, pumps and instrumentation.
Agroman awarded SPG for the Basic- and Detail Engineering, Procurement of all prefabricated material, erection, commissioning, technical assistance and Start-up of a 105.000m³ LNG tank for the LNG Import Terminal in Catagena, Spain.
Capacity 105.000m³; API, concrete re-inforced tank; outer tank ASTM A516 Gr. 70; inner tank ASTM A553 Type 170 (9% Nickel); Diameter approx. 70 meters, height approx. 50 meters.
Purpose of the plant consisted of collection of natural gas from different Iranian fields, separation and filtration, in order to eliminate condensable hydrocarbons and delivery to Turkey. Inlet line to the plant and separation system are designed for operation at 72,4 bar.
The Inlet line is 40” connected to slug catcher, consisting of 4 line with 109m length, each, in which recover condensable fractions. Natural gas without condensation, is directed to a group of 3 filters separators, for deep purification. At the outlet from separators, the gas is collected in one header of 40” and directed to 5 gas metering units fitted with flow computers (max capacity 10 billion cm/y).
Demcolec awarded Prematechnik, an affiliate of SPG, a 100 meters guyed Flare System for a Power Plant. The scope of the project included: Basic- and Detail Engineering, Procurement, Commissioning and technical assistance.
RAG, Kokerei Schwelgern awarded the Basic- and Detail Engineering, Procurement of all process utilities, commission and erection for the Medium coke oven raw gas (H2S, NH3, HCN, etc.) and the Gas Purification Plant to SPG.
