Die Auswirkungen des globalen Klimawandels sind mittlerweile spürbar und bedrohen weltweit Gesellschaften und Ökosysteme. Extremwetterereignisse wie Starkregen, Überflutungen, Trockenperioden und Hitzewellen sind vermehrt zu beobachten. Um diesen Entwicklungen entgegenzuwirken und die Erderwärmung zu begrenzen, hat Nordrhein-Westfalen, als eine der stärksten Wirtschaftsregionen Europas, ehrgeizige Ziele: Bis spätestens 2045 will das bevölkerungsreichste Bundesland Deutschlands klimaneutral sein.
Ein entscheidender Schritt in diese Richtung ist die aktive Beteiligung von Unternehmen und Organisationen im Rahmen des IN4climate.NRW Industriepaktes. Hierbei hat sich auch SPG Steiner, ein traditionsreiches Familienunternehmen aus Siegen, das auf den Energieanlagenbau spezialisiert ist, tatkräftig engagiert.
Das Hauptziel des Industriepakts NRW.Energy4Climate ist ehrgeizig: Die drastische Reduzierung von Treibhausgasemissionen und gleichzeitig die Stärkung des Industrie- und Dienstleistungsstandorts Nordrhein-Westfalen für eine nachhaltige Zukunft. Besonderes Augenmerk liegt auf den maßgeblichen Sektoren Energiewirtschaft, Industrie, Gebäude und Verkehr, die gemeinsam mehr als 90 Prozent der Treibhausgasemissionen im Land ausmachen.
Die notwendige Transformation in diesen Schlüsselbereichen erfordert eine sektorübergreifende Beschleunigung, um das ambitionierte Ziel der Klimaneutralität möglichst rasch zu erreichen. SPG Steiner trägt dazu bei, indem das Unternehmen seine langjährige Erfahrung im Energieanlagenbau durch die Projektinitiative "NEXT-ENERGY-CAMPUS" aktiv einbringt. The effects of global climate change are now being felt and are threatening societies and ecosystems worldwide. Extreme weather events such as heavy rainfall, flooding, dry periods and heat waves are increasingly being observed. To counteract these developments and limit global warming, North Rhine-Westphalia, as one of the strongest economic regions in Europe, has ambitious goals: Germany's most populous state wants to be climate-neutral by 2045 at the latest.
A decisive step in this direction is the active participation of companies and organizations within the framework of the IN4climate.NRW industrial pact. SPG Steiner, a long-established family-owned company from Siegen specializing in energy plant construction, is also actively involved in this.
The main goal of the NRW.Energy4Climate industrial pact is ambitious: to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions and at the same time to strengthen North Rhine-Westphalia as a location for industry and services for a sustainable future. Particular attention is being paid to the key sectors of energy, industry, buildings and transport, which together account for more than 90 percent of greenhouse gas emissions in the state.
