Sudapet Natural Gas Utilization Project

SUDAPET Co. Ltd. is utilizing natural gas as a strategic project, namely Al-Fula Town Power plant. An important feature of the project is that it is the first project in Sudan that utilizes natural gas for power generation plant that will be connected to the National Electric Grid. SPG Steiner constructed a Gas gathering & Processing Plant located at MOGA to treat and process the commingled gas from the three blocks for the Fula Power Plant 405 MW and to produce LPG and condensate. Sudapet will execute Supply of fuel Gas to Fula Power Plant.

SPG Steiner performed the following: 

• Project Management, Control and Administration, Detailed Engineering Pre-construction studies and site survey
• Preparation of Project HSE Policies & Procedures & Compliance with country`s Health Safety and Environment regulations, policies and procedures
• Quality Management System; Fabrication drawing and construction drawings
• Mechanical Detail Drawing for tanks, Pressure Vessels (including Heat Exchangers), Packages/Skids and equipment; Welding Procedures
• Inspection and Test Plans; Punch Lists
• Procurement and Construction Management procedures; Construction and Installation procedures
• Mechanical Completion; Pre-commissioning, Commissioning plans & procedures
• Start-Up and Performance Guarantee; Progressive handover and acceptance of operation of the facilities
• Final documentation; Planning and Scheduling package
• Periodic Reports to CLIENT; As built documentation; Maintenance during Warranty Period
