Reformers present a unique furnace optimization challenge due to the large number of burners that they contain. Imbalances caused by only a few mis-tuned burners can lead to reduced efficiency, tube failures, degraded catalyst, or constrained operation with changing fuel composition.
High performance, ease of maintenance and individuality
PREMATECHNIK ultra-low NOx PT-MPDFFS/FD burner combines highest performance and low maintenance for ethylene, EDC, methanol plants, H2 plants, CO plants and reformer applications.
PREMATECHNIK burners can be supplied as gas-staged variants or air-staged variants. The burners are individually dimensioned according to the customer's specifications and are suitable for outputs from 0.5 upto 5 MW.
We guarantee the maximum value of currently 200 mg specified by the German TA Luft standard, which has also been adopted internationally. Depending on the type of gas mixture, NOx values less than 150 mg can be achieved. The burners are fuel staged and operated with forced air. They are also suitable for operation with changing gas compositions. The control range is 1:5.
